Hi, I'm Alexa Rae, born and raised in metro Detroit, MI and a self taught mixed media artist. My work is inspired by the sublime beauty of high fashion and femininity. I create illustrations that embodies designer runway and pop culture

I specialize in mixed media fashion illustrations that are layered with acrylic paint, silver/gold leafing, glass beading, pearls and rhinestones. My artwork is harmonious in terms of colors and composition, but individually unique in medium variations.

You will either find me creating in my studio or cuddling my mini Goldendoodle, Bruce!
